Hello Iam located in san pablo- california and this 2 sisters were my grandmas babys , but now she is sick and old and not able to take care of them any more , She doesn't know the exact age on this dogs , but they are mature dogs , they still look very good and active , but I can not keep them , because I already have 4 dogs and 2 more will be to many for me .

Rescued pups needing forever homes Illinois Aurora
Hope 4 Paws has rescued some pups that need their forever home. In order:

Striker - 4 month old male lab mix. Awesome with dogs and kids. Very sweet boy!Almost Potty trained.

Phineas - 4 month old male German Shepherd/Border Collie mix. So playful and fun! Gentle with kids and loves other dogs. Gorgeous boy! Almost potty trianed.

Mimsy - 1-2 yr old female schipperke mix. About 20 lbs and is full grown. very dainty. Loves to be held or sit with you. Very good with dogs and kids. Potty trained.

All 3 pups have been rescued from Southern IL and are now in foster care waiting for their forever home. All 3 are current on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed/neutered. If you can open your heart and home to save one of these beautiful black pups, they would be ever so grateful!

Smallsville Pavilion at the Oakland Animal Shelter, is for dogs under 20 pounds. They all hang out cage free, interacting and socializing with visitors. We still have a lot more decorating to do: furniture, wall paintings, etc., but the dogs are there, so please come and visit them at 1101 29th Ave in Oakland if you want to adopt a small size dog.
We currently have dogs from 7 pounds to 20 pounds and they are changing constantly. As dogs get adopted we move more small dogs in.
To adopt, your application must be approved and if you own your home, you must show proof of home ownership with tax bill. If you rent, you need landlord permission in lease agreement or written permission letter. Please refer to adoption requirements at OAS web site.

Smallsville has many small dogs all wandering around freely, so we ask that young children stay behind the gated area. The adults can enter Smallsville and interact with the dogs, but let them come up to you We ask that you do not force the dogs to interact with you; they need a little warm up time to feel secure and safe with new people.
If you decide you want to learn more about a specific dog, you can ask the volunteer to take you and your family to the "get acquainted room" where the entire family can interact with the little dog.
Smallsville is still a work in progress, lots of decorating to do and we are looking for volunteer artists to help paint the walls with murals. Many small dogs are available for adoption right now, so come and visit Oakland Animal Services soon. We also have many other dogs of all sizes up to a Mastiff size. Actually, a 130 lb. Mastiff is available right now. And a 90 lb. Sheepdog was recently adopted.

Noah's B'Ark North is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit local pet rescue organization (Non-Profit ID# 95-4677862) committed to finding permanent and happy homes for unwanted and homeless pets in our community and to reducing pet over-population.

The organization was founded by Lila Hemenway in 1997. We rescue and re-home approximately 300 pets each year. The animals are fostered in the homes of our volunteers as well as at a Veterinarian facility.

We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering. Our animals are spayed/neutered before they are adopted. All of pets for adoption receive a health exam; all cats and kittens are fel/fiv tested negative.

Second Chances Rescue is a non-profit volunteer group, established in June 2008. Our goal is to decrease the total number of animals being euthanized in animal shelters each year by finding new, permanent homes for them. Our animals come from a variety of circumstances.

We do not yet have our own kennel facility, so all of the animals we take in live in "foster homes" or with their owners until they are adopted.

In order to ultimately reduce the number of unwanted animals killed each year, we feel it is important to educate prospective owners and the general public about pet overpopulation and enforce a very strict spay/neuter policy for all our adopted pets.

All adoption fees go 100% directly into rescuing and caring for our dogs.

Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter has lots of puppies and dogs for adoption from 10 to 2 at Veterans Blvd. Petco (located between Lowes and Causeway Blvd.) There are puppies from at least 4 litters, some small adult adult dogs and a German Shepherd.

Kittens from the Friends of the Jefferson Animal Shelter are available for adoption at both Petco and Jefferson Feed during the same times today.

Both Eastbank Jefferson Parish Animal Shelters have re-opened for adoptions. Saturday hours are 10-3. Eastbank Shelter is bursting with adoptable pets.
